Sun, smiles and I do’s! What’s not to like?
Mai and Joe welcomed their family and friends to the beautiful Mill Barns Wedding Venue in Alveley, which sits amongst the scenic and picturesque views of the Midlands countryside. This amazing couple did not let the governments Covid-19 restrictions affect their magical day and took advantage of one of our Covid-19 packages.

The couple took advantage of having a second photographer- which is a great add on for all of us as she is my fiancé (so a win-win situation). This allows us to never miss a moment!
The beautiful getting ready area offered an intimate space for the Bridal party. Hair and make up was provided by the amazing Shannon Murphy!

The venue was dressed by Midlands based business Country Foxes who did a beautiful job! They also provided the flowers for the venue, Bride and Groom parties.
The Mill Barns provided the groom and his groomsmen the perfect space to prepare themselves. With big mirrors, changing rooms and plenty of daylight.
The couple organised pianist Amy of Amore music to provide a beautiful and romantic melody for the guests during the ceremony!
With the sun making an appearance, the couple decided to have their ceremony outdoors on the venues beautiful decking, overlooking the lake and venues impressive grounds.
Within the grounds there were so many options for the couples photographs. We were spoilt for choice!
Driving home in style! The couple ended their day at Mill Barns with a surprise from the bride’s parents. With bubbly for the journey and a ride around the Shropshire hills, the newly weds could enjoy the moment and take in what has just happened!

We loved photographing this wedding, it was everything a wedding should be! So much love, laughter and tears of happiness. Mai and Joe did not let the restrictions of Covid-19 get in the way of having their perfect big day.
The Mill Barns is a prime example of the beautiful wedding venues the West Midlands has to offer, with such a diverse mix of barns, country houses, urban settings and luxury hotels! We cannot think of a better location to live in and work as a wedding photographer! The couple picked the most perfect suppliers with Country foxes dressing the venue and creating the most beautiful flower arrangements and bouquets! We have even booked them ourselves for our own wedding! The bridal party had their hair and make-up done by Shannon who did a wonderful job! Pianist Amy from Amore music provided a beautiful set of piano covers for guests for the ceremony! It really set the scene and happy tears were out in full force.
The couple were surprised with a classical car to take them to their evening reception in their own garden with gazebos, fairy lights and delicious food for 1000 people (we may have taken a sausage roll two). Stories were told, speeches were laughed at and family and friends embraced a magical end to this Midlands fairytale wedding!
We were so happy to be asked to photograph their wedding, our first wedding after all of the disruption of Covid-19! The wedding industry really took a hit but everyone got to it like nothing had happened!
